Umadevi Ravindran is a change management and organisational transformation specialist with over two decades of professional experience spanning banking, IT services, healthcare, and higher education. Her work focuses on the human and structural dimensions of change, supporting organisations to navigate complexity, improve resilience, and align strategy with sustainable transformation.
Throughout her career, Umadevi has led and supported large-scale transformation programmes within global financial institutions and multinational organisations, working across functions to integrate change strategy, delivery governance, stakeholder engagement, and operational execution. Her expertise lies in translating strategic intent into implementable change initiatives that are sensitive to organisational culture and long-term sustainability outcomes.
Umadevi is currently pursuing a Master of Research (MRes) in Business Management at the University of Lancashire, where her academic work focuses on organisational change and transformation. Her research interests include change readiness, leadership during transformation, and the role of organisational systems in enabling sustainable performance.
At CSDI, Umadevi contributes research expertise in change management, capacity building, and organisational transformation, supporting research-led innovation across sustainability and circular economy initiatives. She plays a key role in bridging academic research with practical organisational application, ensuring that evidence-based insights inform programme design, partnership development, and institutional capacity-building efforts.
Her combined industry and research background strengthens CSDI’s ability to support organisations and communities in adopting sustainable practices that are both strategically sound and operationally viable.
